Meet Kayla
Hey, I’m Kayla! I’m so happy you’re here!
In case we aren’t already BFF’s yet, I am a teacher, PD Coordinator, new teacher mentor, wife to my greatest adventure, and sunshine lover! In my spare time I enjoy serving others, spending time outside, and of course, strolling the aisles of Target while sipping a skinny, oat milk, half-caff vanilla latte.
After five amazing years of teaching everything from fourth grade to high school math, I knew I needed to follow my heart and pursue helping first year teachers feel confident and supported in the classroom. Through this passion, I have had the amazing opportunity to coach new teachers as they are beginning their first year in the classroom and blossoming into the teacher that they were born to be!

Meet Sydney
Welcome to College 2 Classroom! My name is Sydney Lafrenz, and I am the face behind @LearningwithLafrenz.
As a former fourth grade teacher and now instructional and new teacher coach, my passion for supporting teachers runs deep. I completed my Masters work in Educational Leadership with a K-12 principal license. This led me to many opportunities to help interview, hire, develop curriculum, host lots of student teachers, and mentor many new teachers within our district.
I have made it my mission to ensure new teachers are equipped with everything college didn’t teach them so they can be successful in the classroom from day one. Whether it be applying, interviewing, classroom management, parent communication, or routines and systems, I LOVE providing insight to teachers, especially those new to the profession.
